And there were plenty of people who helped propagate it.Owen Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06464860078574618579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35117130.post-69986605660976061042016-04-29T17:16:16.682-04:002016-04-29T17:16:16.682-04:00It is disturbing how often rational consensus elud...
It is disturbing how often rational consensus eludes us today, Owen. We can no longer agree even on the most obvious. Coyne, for example, had to grasp for a deep level of disingenuousness to suggest that Justice Vaillancourt's eloquent exoneration of Duffy was nothing more than a routine "not guilty." That requires some intellectual contortionism.

I don't see anything as benign as stupidity in this, Owen. It's more like truth laundering, trying to introduce a false narrative as factual. It's a dangerous practice, one that reinforces the divide in our society so carefully engineered in an unscrupulous quest for power during the Harper years. It serves to perpetuate the breakdown in social cohesion that, among other things, leaves society weakened, angry and incapable of moving forward. It is despicable. The Mound of Soundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09023839743772372922noreply@blogger.com
