It's been awhile since I published anything. I'm still around and I've been watching. I'm not happy that Donald Trump is president again. We are in for a rough four years. And I don't expect Trump will leave when the four years are over.
Still, I'm grateful for the time I've been given. And I continue to be optimistic -- in the long run.

Nice to see your post. Pacific Gazetter's blog roll stated you had a post up. enjoy your time off.
Trump is 78, he may exit stage left. He may also be sent to an untimely exit. Its never smart to up
set and deny health care to people who were in the military. they do have a skill set. if he doesn't' deliver perhaps Putin will invite him for a visit and he falls out a window. seems to be a problem for those who "upset" Putin.
Take care and enjoy. This getting old is not for the faint of heart.
Good to hear from you Owen.
As for "And I don't expect Trump will leave when the four years are over."
Let's hope the grim-reaper helps out on that one and then perhaps the spell will be broken.
Whither MAGA w/o Trump?
Perhaps Trump's health will intervene, e.a.f. The good news is that he's getting old.
I could be wrong, PoV. But MAGA may fade without Trump.
Good to see you back, Owen.
It's good to hear from you jrk.
Wouldn’t you know it, I check back regularly hoping to hear from you and the week I don’t you post up.
I am so glad to hear you’re still kicking and taking care of yourself.
Like you, I think, and others, I need a break from all of this trump bunk and our own political drama. If you ever feel like you want to put something up we can always talk about things more life affirming. Our favourite places to go for a walk, music and movies we enjoy, books, how our photo taking devices have evolved through our lives or our vehicles or kitchens. On and on and on….
In Vancouver spring is in the air, well, it might not be this coming week, crocuses are aplenty and some of the tree buds are starting to open. So things to look forward to.
Most of the snow has disappeared here, Graham. Spring is in the air.
