My Family

I wish to write a few words about my family. Carol Anne  -- my wife -- and Michael, Christopher and Thomas -- our sons --  and Christopher's wife Pan Pan and his son Raphael -- are the best things in my life. It's that simple  and that profound.

Good to hear from you, Owen. Family is indeed the most important aspect of my life as well, and I have much to be thankful for in that regard too.

Good to hear from you Owen.
Yes, sometimes we don’t realize how important the people who have been with us all along are. Family of course being the ones who have been there the longest and who have probably put up with the most but who hopefully have been rewarded during that time as well as ourselves.
I know I have tested the patience of my parents when I was young and at home still and now my wife is the one to be putting up with me. I very much appreciate all they have given me. Right now I am returning the favour as my parents are getting very old and my wife is convalescing with a broken leg.
I told her that trying to learn to skateboard at her age was NOT a good idea.
As a former skateboarder myself I knew there would be wipeouts and that they hurt. I still have the scars. Well, she gave a good go and here we are.
Good to hear from you Owen and I hope you and your family are doing well.
I have thought of you recently what with all the political stuff going on but I know you are not doing that anymore. Suffice to say there are some places where the light is getting through and so I remain hopeful.
All the best, Graham.

You're right , Lorne. As I get older, family has become the most important aspect of my life.

Glad to see you were typing again. Yes, family can be the most rewarding thing in life. So happy yours is so rewarding. Its a good way to be able to sum up one's life as we age.

As
I get older, e.a.f, I find that I'm grateful for what I have not what I lack -- like my youth.
